Since in wetland management plans, the role of the director in the intersectoral management structures has been given to the general managers of the DoE provincial offices in provinces, the issue of technical support and eliciting opinions and ideas of this key group has been on the agenda of this project for mitigating the challenges of the integrated management of wetland ecosystems. Therefore, the network for general wetland managers was established in December, 2019 byCIWP in order to continue planning group and individual meetings with general managers of the DoE provincial offices of the provinces.
