Elites of Photography Competition of Wetlands with ‘Life Flourishes in Wetlands’ Topic
The national manager of Conservation of Iranian Wetlands Project, in addition to highlighting the importance of the wetlands’ topic and the ever-increasing need for dialogue and the expansion of public culturalization towards the protection of wetlands, informed about the declaration of the results of the photography contest of wetlands with the topic of “life flourishes in wetlands” simultaneous with the customs of the international wetlands’ day observed by the Iranian wetlands’ protection project.
Besides recognizing the international wetlands’ day as the greatest event of the wetlands’ domain at the world level, Ali Arvahi asserted that “out of more than 1000 received photographs, six could accede the final stage, and the superior ones were appreciated by plaques of commemoration and cash prizes in the special ceremony of the international wetlands’ day observed in Sanandaj city of Kurdistan province”.
It is worth mentioning that 20 selected photographs were presented in a fair at the sideline of the international wetlands’ day ceremony.
